our story
thank you for being here.
It truly means the world.
Whether you found Aloha Girl through a single lip oil, a sunset on your feed, or simply because something about our story resonated with you, I’m so grateful you’re here.
Aloha Girl began with a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel seen. Growing up, I rarely saw girls who looked like me represented in beauty. It made me wonder what the world would look like if beauty celebrated our differences instead of asking us to fit into one definition of it.
I didn’t want to create another cosmetics company. I wanted to create a place. A place where kindness matters. Where authenticity is celebrated. Where imperfections are worn with pride. Where community comes before competition. Where people leave feeling a little more hopeful than when they arrived.
To me, beauty has never been about perfection. It’s the feeling of watching a sunset in complete silence. The warmth of the sun on your skin. Sand between your toes. Laughing until your stomach hurts. A friend who listens without judgment. Those moments remind us of something we often forget: we’re human. We’re connected. And we’re never truly alone.
My hope is that every interaction with Aloha Girl reminds you of that feeling. Whether you’re opening one of our packages, scrolling through our community, or simply wearing a little lip oil on an ordinary Tuesday morning, I hope you feel welcomed. I hope you feel represented. I hope you feel supported. Most importantly, I hope you leave believing there is a place for you here.
Because there is.
Thank you for believing in this dream. I can’t wait to see where we go together.
with love,

where it began
My father served in the U.S. military and was deployed to Hawaiʻi. Some of my earliest memories were formed on Waikīkī beach, and ever since, island life has seeped into every facet of my life. The name Aloha Girl is a tribute to the warmth and togetherness of Polynesian culture that I was honored to experience as a young child.
Mahalo, a lip oil, came first because it can be worn by anyone, whatever your skin tone, undertone or skin type. It only made sense that our first product be something everyone can try for themselves.
our philosophy of beauty
beauty is in belonging.
For too long, beauty has been defined by expectations. Looking a certain way. Fitting into a certain mold. We believe something different. Beauty isn’t becoming someone else. It’s embracing what has been there all along: your story, your imperfections, your kindness, your warmth, the way you make other people feel.
Confidence grows when it is shared. Kindness multiplies when it is given. And belonging begins the moment someone feels seen.
what it means to be an aloha girl
Being an Aloha Girl isn’t about where you’re from, what you look like, or even whether you wear makeup. It’s about how you move through the world.
An Aloha Girl leads with kindness. She offers a helping hand when she can, listens without judgment, and understands that making someone feel seen is one of the greatest gifts she can give. She embraces her imperfections because they tell the story of who she is. She carries herself with quiet confidence, humility, and self-respect, knowing that true beauty begins within.
She meets people where they are. She believes community is built through everyday moments: holding the door open, picking up someone’s dropped papers, checking in on a friend. Above all, she believes no one should have to navigate life alone.
being an aloha girl isn’t something you’re born into. it’s something you choose. every single day.

the aloha ritual
Every time you reach for Mahalo, pause for just a moment. Take a slow breath. Notice the warmth around you. As you apply it, set one intention for yourself: patience, courage, gratitude, rest, or simply being present. Then ask yourself one more question: how can I share this feeling with someone else today?
